Would not shut off no matter how I set it!

I don't know if I got a bad one or what. I set it up, set it to 60 degrees on the 600watt setting (lowest possible) About 3 hours later, it was still heating and the room was well over 80 degrees! This is a room that is generally cold clear into spring, but I don't want it baking warm either. Returning it and not sure if I'll get another.

Does not take up a lot of space heats excellent

Cons

May not evenly distribute heat throughout the room
