Review on Ryzen 7 5700G: Unlocked 8-Core, πŸ–₯️ 16-Thread Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics by AMD by Jonny Dogruyol

Would like better quality

After testing the APU over the past few weeks and running many tests, I can draw several conclusions. Cores and threads at 5800x, but only 65W TDP. All in all, this is a great APU for those looking for a more powerful part of their setup. The onboard Raedon Vega graphics is capable of running most esports games on low settings. Games like Fortnite, DOTA 2, League of Legends, Valorant can run at 1080p and 60 fps on mixed settings, making it a great budget option. with a graphics card somewhere around 15-25% in frames depending on the game. It's still faster than the 3600 or 3700x, but only by 3-5% on average. This creates a bad choice for gamers. You buy this APU so you have something that can run less demanding games at 1080p, you buy it and you run games at 720p (I would say no modern gamer would want to do that) because you can't get a graphics card. Knowing that if you can get a graphics card, you'll get the performance of a Ryzen 3000 and fall behind the last gen. Or will you keep waiting for GPU prices to drop and then buy a Ryzen 5000 processor?

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Have doubts
