Review on 🔧 Enhancing Stability: Synergy Manufacturing 8069-01 Track Bar Brace Unveiled! by Antonio Bacon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bracket has larger 9/16 " holes for longer bolt. Suitable for large frame holes.

Benefits: Very heavy 1/4" thick plate Powder coating is thick and durable Oversized tie rod bolt holes for Use with drilled holes in frame and oversized tie rod bolts. This item is so good, Jeep should put it on all of their Jeeps from the factory! Best suited are Oversized Monster (TeraFlex) or Yeti trackbars with oversized 9/16" trackbar bushings. Cons: If you plan to use it on 2012 or later models with a factory trackbar, you will need a 14mm trackbar -Use factory size bolt. Provided it is longer than factory bolt but small and has about 0.013" play when used with HD chains with 9/16" ID bushings. Best use SYNERGY track or TERAFLEX Monster, STEER SMARTS Yeti. With enlarged bushings Expensive but worth it! It fits but it fits snugly between the frame and coil spring. 66 year old with a Jeep installed on the garage floor, no lift or jack Synergy supplies a 3.25" 9/16"-13 NCT bolt, the one on the right in my picture. I used a grade 8 9/16"-18 NFT bolt. It has a longer shoulder so the threads don't cut the guide rail bushing, and the thin threads are also stronger. The holes in my frame were just a little loose so I had to use an old used and worn out 9/16" reamer I had. I also have a TeraFlex Monster HD trackbar with an ID 9/16"- socket installed. The factory tie rod bushings were shot. In the photos I have the jeep on a stand on the right hand side, I have a JKS cross member axle brace fitted to this End of the cross member I have inserted the tie rod to make sure it works with both braces, after sale it comes loose , I will clean and paint the weld faces, then grind the weld faces, weld on the axle spacer and repaint to make sure you tighten all the bolts to Synergy specs. I did this with a 1/2" drive Craftsman torque wrench with the jeep on the garage floor and both wheels. This can be done. Bolts with the suspension wheels fully loaded on the floor so that the cross member is in the correct position. How As others have stated, when using a Monster HD rail you have about 1/8" clearance between the head of the frame's bottom thru-bolt and the rail Hübsch. With the TERAFLEX Monster HD adjustable linkage, my crossmember didn't make contact until I raised the chain from the axle side to the frame. See image with trackbar supported by orange zip ties. Even then hardly touched. Please note that my JK does not have a lift, it is a standard suspension. If you have a lot of buoyancy I don't know if you will have full articulation with a reinforced trail. It may be necessary to slightly grind the head of this lower frame thru bolt after tightening. I also beefed up the end of the tie rod axle with an aftermarket strut. Synergy makes you, as does JKS and the others. Some need welding, mine did. YMMV. The trackbar requires a lot of tension and stress. If you are upgrading a trackbar from a flimsy factory rail, I highly recommend installing this spacer and another on the end of the trackbar axle. The factory mounts are flimsy and flimsy, and once rusted and loaded with jeeps with oversized tires, they will fail. The factory mounting holes will be plugged.
