Review on 📦 Douper Lid Support Hinge, Cabinet Lid Stay with Soft-Close Feature, Adjustable Tension Toy Box Hinges, 40lbs Weight Capacity (2pcs) by Frank Chinchilla

I bought a set of lid holders from Douper a few months ago and they hold the toy box lid perfectly open (doesn't close smoothly). I was so happy I ordered a second set and mounted it on a second toy box but this time the plastic part broke right away. Without this part there is a risk of the brace slipping off the mount and crushing the little finger rendering it completely useless. I had a toy box to assemble so I've had the prop out of the box for a little over a month and now they say the return period has expired. I've been trying to find someone to support me, but it's like finding a needle in a haystack. Super disappointed! No way have I ordered this brand again so ordered soft close lid supports from another company for about the same price. Safer for children and superior design. This may be a separate issue, which is why I hate writing negative reviews, but I can't stand a company that doesn't endorse their products. UPDATE: After I posted my review, Revain refunded a defective product so I upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars.
