Review on πŸš— Enhance Your Ride with Monroe Shocks & Struts OESpectrum 37239 Shock Absorber by Homer Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The driving characteristics seem to be very good, the truck drives as smoothly as it did then.

These dampers fit my Toyota Tundra 05 double cab very well. If you are replacing these shocks on a different 1st generation Tundra, the best way to remove the top bolt from the strut is to cut open the plastic dust cover on the stock shock and place a vise on the shock piston rod to hold it in place. I did this and was able to place the ratchet on the top screw and loosen it easily. The bolt is located just under the bed, difficult to reach with hands. However, Monroe are very high quality products.
