What's surprisingly good about the Zeiss 21mm ZM lens is its sharpness throughout the frame. It's really amazing to see how sharp you can get a picture. I can view my images pixel by pixel from my ME and see little to no distortion or distortion of detail. With the aperture wide open, this is even enough for taking pictures in available light. However, I would not reduce it to 1/25. However, it's worth noting that these lenses don't come with a 21mm viewfinder. Zeiss offers it for a considerable price, but I recommend the cheaper 21mm Voigtlander viewfinders or the old Leica 'SBKOO' chromed 21mm hot shoe viewfinder. You can get the latter for $250 at the time of writing. A composition without it with a .72/.85 viewfinder is almost hopeless.
