I installed this KVM switch on my Windows 7 PC and it works well with my wired keyboard and mouse，Everything was smooth. A few things to check before you buy: 1. USB-B cable and HDMI cable need to be purchased separately. NO cables included.2. The keyboard hotkey for switching between desktops is done by double-clicking SCROLL LOCK + port number. BUT you have to press it with a 1 second pause between presses (at least for me). If you press too slowly or too fast, it can't shift successfully.
