They are so cute! I washed them in the dishwasher before using them and they didn't damage the plastic coating on the magnet or the size markings on the plastic. Everything is still bright and legible. This aspect may well remain so for a long time. They are very strong to the touch and feel very strong and durable as they should be as they are made entirely of stainless steel. I have tested the accuracy of the measuring spoons with two other sets I have and they are spot on. And none of the spoons were mislabeled. Just be careful not to put them in the dishwasher, if you want them clean the magnets will attract them. I'm just talking
