Like many others, mine broke within the first hour of use. I was able to fix it, and here's how to do it: * Tap the glue line with a rubber mallet. Be patient and start carefully. If you're lucky like me, it will rip open at the seam.* Separate the outer halves and pull out the inner bead with a winding needle. It leaves a small bushing on the string.* If the inner ball won't hold together, use some superglue to hold the inner ball halves together.* Wrap the string around the inner ball. Make sure you turn the inner pin in the right direction - you give the spring a little preload to fully wind it up. *Insert the string bushing back into the original groove in the outer half of the ball. * Check the position of the second half of the pin. outer ball by realigning the slot in the socket. * Remove the outer half of the ball you just installed and cover the edge with a thin layer of super glue. Reattach the two outer halves of the balloon and press firmly.* Will it last long? I doubt it.
