Imagine 100 guests are waiting to toast the newlyweds and the waiter (me) is pouring expensive champagne into a row of glasses and notices that I keep watering with it so the surface gets wet. I look at the glasses that have been poured – almost empty! Champagne splashes on the floor, the guest demands a toast - a wedding nightmare! It may have been a faulty batch, but do yourself a favor and check out this mug before your big day. Every glass I poured into leaked, some slowly, some very quickly, pouring several ounces of champagne faster than a bored uncle could, but all we tried to use leaked. The jar itself was exactly as described and if it was water resistant it would have served perfectly. I liked the feel, no complaints about the look and strength of the glass. But if you do order, do yourself a favor - test them out before the event.
