My Suburban was having an issue with intermittent idle fluctuations when turning the A/C on (during a stop). RPM jumped around 350-500 and sometimes the engine stalled. After reading online I removed the throttle body, cleaned it and replaced the throttle position sensor with this Dorman sensor. Now the truck runs so smooth, no more hesitation at idle and throttle response is crisp. A simple note before removing and cleaning or simply replacing the throttle position sensor. Disconnect the battery terminals beforehand so that the computer can be restarted. If you don't do this, your engine idle may be slightly higher until your computer remembers to idle again. I unplugged mine for about an hour to make sure it cleared and had no problems.
