Review on 🐠 Aqueon Siphon Vacuum Gravel Cleaner Medium - 9 Inches: Efficient Cleaning for Your Aquarium by Bianca Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for my 40 and 55 gallon aquariums!

Works great! I have a 40 gallon and a 55 gallon tank, 40 contains 3 hatched turtles, 55 contains a 1 year old and 3 month old caiman turtle that I rescued. She's a pig lol making such a mess she's about 6 inches in diameter. Now this vacuum sucks up water well and quickly, but not so fast that you can't get rid of all the dirt before it empties the entire tank. It sucks up just enough gravel to loosen and pump the silt out of the gravel, after which the gravel falls back to the bottom of the tank, not to mention it never hit me. I am very satisfied with this vacuum cleaner. I've tried others and they either emptied the tank too quickly or clogged because the suction is too strong and the gravel sucked ALL UP the tube and clogged at the top. (Which is very annoying) I've tried other vacuums and most of them are just awful. Some don't even start sucking! Even if you try to suck it out with your mouth. The size is perfect for it! The tube's hole diameter is an inch and a half, while most others are 2 inches (unless you're using a mini). I RECOMMEND THIS VACUUM CLEANER FOR ANY TYPE OF AQUARIUM! Do you have fish, turtles, whatever. If you don't have a substrate at the bottom of the tank, if you have a gravel substrate this works great! If you even have SAND, I would still recommend this vacuum cleaner. It has strong suction power but not strong enough to suck up all the sand. Hope this review helps someone! I rely on reviews just like all of you, I try to leave my opinion as honest as possible so that you have something to read so you can make a purchase once you know what item you are buying!
