I bought this for my daughter to make DIY colored nail polish. She also used it for color-changing slime. To make nail polish we use a very small amount mixed with clear nail polish. You can use cheap stuff from Dollar Tree to make an inexpensive color change nail polish, or you can use a better quality clear coat for your base. The packages are small, but a little goes a long way. The only thing to note is that they change from one color to another, not one color to another. However, I have found that if I use a light colored base coat I can have the effect of changing color. For example, I used a light blue base and added pink/red: voila, the color turned purple. I also used dark green in transparent glitter paint. When warm they are transparent with silver sparkles, but when it gets cold they suddenly turn dark green with silver sparkles. Really cool effects!
