Review on πŸ’» Enhanced Intel Xeon X3440 CPU 2.53 GHz, 8 MB Cache, LGA1156 Socket by Riko Doi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

a cheap way to get a lot of threads - especially considering the prices of new processors and expensive DDR4 memory. it is difficult to dig out the motherboard under 1156. easily chases from 2933 to 3800 MHz. with a good cooler up to 4000 MHz. with dropsy up to 4300/4400 MHz. chic stone for a penny. if you have a motherboard with 1156, then I highly recommend buying 16Gb RAM, a motherboard, a good cooler + overclocking to 4.0GHz and for 15-20k you can get an analogue of a modern stone from Intel (i7 2600k / 3770k - i5 7600 - without overclocking).

Pros
  • 4 cores, 8 threads great overclocking potential. the price / performance ratio is simply space. supports 32Gb of RAM unlike i7 860
Cons
  • old technical process - he would have 32nm when overclocking, you need a good cooler (a tower with 4-6 heat pipes) or dropsy - then 4200/4400 MHz will be available
