It was an almost exact replica of the OED. A few programmed keys at the top were different but because these were newer services. The device is a bit lighter than the original - the plastic used was a bit thinner. It worked great from the minute we put the batteries in. We didn't have to do anything at all to sync it. However, I do notice that the text on a few buttons is starting to wear out after just a few months of use. The original took years for the button text to wear out.
