I was hesitant to buy this chain tool as it was a lot more expensive than others but it was worth it. Other tools simply break the chain and reattach it. The Allen key has a dual purpose. Obviously to install and remove the pins in the chain as well as adjust the seatpost/brakes, which I do a lot on the bike. Sizes 4mm and 5mm. The chain hook is a great addition. At first I thought it was just a badly bent paper clip, but it was used to reattach the chain to avoid any slack in the chain. That's pretty helpful. For your information, the grub screw may deform after repeated use. It is important that the pins are screwed in as straight as possible. Failure to do so may result in connector breakage, end screw pin deformation, or possible tip misalignment. I disconnected this way because I was in a hurry to use it in low light.
