Review on πŸ” Canon 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens (9518B002) – Black: Exceptional Quality and Clarity by Kritbodee Chaicharoe ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

I compare with the Canon EF16-35 2.8 ll on which I worked for about 5 years in reporting with intensive daily use. He gets a solid 5. In exchange for a tired old man, the choice fell on this one. And here is the comparison: Canon EF16-35 f4is Good reasonable price. Better case (more comfortable and more wear-resistant. !a little! better picture when shooting with backlight, good contrast, less flare, artifacts and rays from the sun versions). Personally, I like the second version better. It became even sharper at the edges of the frame, but I don’t think it’s so noticeable if you don’t look closely. The filter diameter is 77 mm, which is cheaper when buying filters. Aperture 4 is rather weak, the stabilizer does not save, when it is turned on, the picture starts to soap like on cheap soap dishes with a large amount of MGP, so it is always turned off. For video, it may be better, did not check. I would not change the second version to it, if not this service one. The first is most likely yes! The third f/2.8 version is noticeably larger and heavier and much more expensive. For myself, I consider the Canon EF16-35 2.8 ll the best option. If you buy from scratch or change the first version, then it makes sense. In the photo, as an example, work in backlight. 1 photo with new, 2 - old lens

Worth your money. The only stabilizer is not particularly needed on such FRs. If you have money - take RF 15-35 2.8

Its pros: Dimensions. Price. Actually, it doesn't need advertising. Great contraption for travelling, indoors, in the city and out Its cons: Aperture. But that's the other side of the virtues.
