I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

I compare with the Canon EF16-35 2.8 ll on which I worked for about 5 years in reporting with intensive daily use. He gets a solid 5. In exchange for a tired old man, the choice fell on this one. And here is the comparison: Canon EF16-35 f4is Good reasonable price. Better case (more comfortable and more wear-resistant. !a little! better picture when shooting with backlight, good contrast, less flare, artifacts and rays from the sun versions). Personally, I like the second version better. It…

    Pros
    • Very sharp throughout the frame Weight, size and overall body Good work in backlight (contrast, flare, artifacts) Fast silent focus Price
    Cons
    • Aperture Stabilizer

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I have been using it since spring 2022. Before that, I used Canon 17-40 L from ultra-wide (soap on open corners) and Sigma 8-16 mm (on crop in the entire focal range and 16 mm on Canon 6D mark II), so I will compare with them. The opinion is subjective. 1. Sharpness. Sharper than 17-40, comparable in sharpness to 8-16, but the latter has a variable aperture and starts from 4.5, and when used on the FF at 16 mm, it’s generally 5.6. 2. Focusing speed. In terms of focusing speed, all lenses are…

    Pros
    • - dust and moisture protection; - durable; - excellent sharpness throughout the field of the frame; - silent and fast focusing
    Cons
    • Haven't noticed in 2 years of use.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I bought it for interior photo shoots, where you need to show the size and so on. Met my expectations 100%. There are no chromatic aberrations, distortion is moderate, the stabilizer is weak, but 1/30 allows you to use it. It is a pity that it is too wide-angle, since the bokeh is very beautiful, but it is pointless to take a close-up of the face, strong distortions. Aperture 4 is not annoying at all, since in most cases, given its purpose, the aperture has to be covered to avoid unnecessary…

    Pros
    • Very high quality picture
    Cons
    • he would have a bit longer focal length

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

These test ratios with 6D at all focal lengths with two apertures: 4.0 and 8.0 will tell you about the excellent sharpness of the lens better than any words (open and view not in a browser, but download and view in DPP or ACR) elecs and 2 zeisses, I was shocked by the sharpness of this new Canon zoom, and even more so the wide-angle one - even sharpness across the frame field, only at the edges on an open aperture it falls slightly; natural colors, contrast picture; there is no "soap" or any c

    Pros
    • yes! convenient design and hood shape for such an ultra-wide-angle lens (it takes up little space in a bag), a common and affordable filter thread size (77mm), acceptable dimensions.
    Cons
    • Doesn't make coffee with toast.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

Its pros: The resolution is suitable for professional work. On all focal lengths a good picture. The stabilizer is working. Some cons: Sharpness is sometimes lacking at 35mm. Distortion is treated in LR, but not automatically. HA are treated normally.

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

Sold my Canon 16-35 f/2.8 ii USM and bought a Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM. I don't regret it at all! Always hits the target, very sharp. ate Info: Sold Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM bought Sigma 12-24 2 version as 16mm looks a bit boring already. In the future I plan to take Canon 11-24 f / 4 L Has pros: 1) very sharp at all focal lengths (the sharpest of all Canon wides except 11-24 f/4 L) 2) exact focus (on my copy, and smeared on the other) 3) the stabilizer saves (I tried it at a…

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Took, as usual, having carefully studied the review on photAmazon. De Once again, they wrote the truth :) The lens behaves absolutely predictably. A great tool that you stop noticing almost immediately. Do what you love - take pictures. At 5D, even without a battery handle, a completely balanced bunch. Very close in size to 24-105/4, only slightly heavier. Lighter than Sigma 50/1.4 Art. The stub works up to 1/10 sec, but I haven’t shot it in complete darkness yet. No need. Distortions even

    Pros
    • Works as promised by the manufacturer.
    Cons
    • I don't see any shortcomings.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I bought it already having 16-35 / 2.8L II, and for good reason. Although it does not allow blurring the background in the same way, the sharpness throughout the frame is much better - it is immediately noticeable that Canon has thoroughly worked on the mistakes. The stabilizer helps a lot when shooting video and in low light. I use this lens as the main tourist lens when traveling - I put others on only when necessary to shoot something more artistic.

    Pros
    • Excellent sharpness The presence of a stabilizer Lightweight and compact Convenient filter size
    Cons
    • Didn't notice any significant deficiencies. Well, of course, I would like it to be lighter :)

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Gorgeous new glass from Canon. For a long time I was skeptical about them, forgetting about the significantly increased resolution. But the lens is very clear, sharp, bright even at aperture 4. And there's a splendid image stabilization that helps in all conditions, including in the dark. The lens is lighter than all similar 2.8, which is another plus. I recommend to skeptics to look at reviews on them, I was among you before buying!

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Once upon a time, while still a student, I dreamed of working as a photographer, but one of the most important things in this profession is the choice of lenses. Of course, the choice was only on canon, because you could contact other companies only at your own peril and risk, but I don’t feel like taking risks. After looking through all the models, my eye fell on the Canon EF 16-35mm f / 4L IS USM. The site was recommended to me by my close friend, it was he who attracted me to such an…

I expected more from buying, but not the worst option.

I have 24-70 f4 sometimes lacking a wide angle. I started to choose between 17-40 and 16-35 f4, 2.8 seemed unjustifiably expensive to me. I started watching reviews on YouTube, the pros all screamed that this is the best of all lenses, just a masterpiece ! I listened and bought this lens. It turned out that this is all an advertisement to the photographer, they just gave money, in other words, they bought him so that he made an advertisement and it unfortunately works. Autofocus is bad, I…

    Cons
    • Stub sharpness focusing dark

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

First impressions were purely positive. The resolution of the lens in the center at focal lengths 28-35 is almost indistinguishable from what is visible across the field and in the corners of the frame, except that in the very corners there is some blurring, but completely in the corners. In this case, this lens is as good as my Sigma 35 / 1.4 Art and Canon EF 28 / 2.8 IS at their respective apertures (usually f / 7.1) when mounted on a Canon EOS 5D Mark III. This allows you to print 40x60 cm…

    Pros
    • Good constructive. All-weather. Stabilizer. Possibility of installation of 77 mm filters. Very high image quality not only for zoom, but in general, especially in the 28-35 mm focal range, especially since Canon does not have good primes in the 16-23 mm range.
    Cons
    • Still massive, which affects the long walks. Liquid complete bag for carrying. The effectiveness of the stabilizer was not so great. Ineffective hood. Unstable field resolution from frame to frame in the 16-20 mm focal range, probably due to incorrect operation / parking of the image stabilization component.
