I used to keep my iPhone in an Audi-created slot in the car, but that meant it couldn't be seen while driving unless I leaned forward to pick it up. I definitely don't text while driving - anyone texting me can wait for me to get where I'm going - but I use Waze and GPS. I installed it quickly and now I can actually watch Waze without grabbing my phone. I like that you can place it anywhere you want. The magnet attaches to the back of my phone - and the only problem with this is that if you have a patterned cover, it now has a nice round magnet in the middle. However, the overall benefit outweighed this small issue. I'm just buying a few more to give away 'stockings' this year.
