Works, but takes a lot of practice to use successfully

This product works but requires practice and the RotoZip disclaimer. The device works, but is limited to cutting in small, confined spaces due to the limited ability of the small fan to create a vacuum to suck in the cutting dust. To create a vacuum, the device must be placed flush with the work surface and held securely. I used this on a small drywall project at home. It kept the dust at bay, but only when used like this: When cutting drywall, the dust head needs to be flush with the surface of the drywall quickly and with great pressure. Tilting or raising your head slightly above the drywall surface while cutting will create a large, fast-moving cloud of dust that will cover you in drywall dust. A cloud of dust shoots out about 2 feet from the drywall and then begins coating everything in the room in white powder. Also, when cutting drywall, dust will come out of the kerf if you move while cutting. Therefore, you must move quickly and maintain the correct angle and pressure on the drywall while following the electrical box. Successful use of the dust collector requires practice. If you have less than a dozen holes to cut in drywall, I would recommend using a hacksaw.
