These jersey shorts are exactly as described. I bought this three pack to wear after my husband's lower spine surgery. Just something to hop on and off. Something not tight around the incisions on his back and lower abdomen led me to these. Basically I bought them for him instead of wearing uncomfortable boxers. I noticed the button in the picture and thought they were "button ties" too, but they do NOT have a button tie. They are shorts but they serve the purpose I bought them for. They are suitable for both leisure and outdoor activities. Good product. And my husband tells me that they are very comfortable. It doesn't pinch and is a great length.
