Ruined ruby tip. I made several prints, then one side came off the base. As I began the next print, I lapped the nozzle against the surface of the glass. Bad design or at least bad choice of glue between glass and hot bed. Very disappointed. I bought a second one and the screws you have to mount yourself were wrong. Anycubic did not respond to emails or phone calls. I sanded the heads with a dremel to make them flat. Yes I know they need pre-tensioning to pull them tight and flush. But where there were 2 flat heads, 2 looked like finished nail heads. I found 2 problems. Glass is deformed by almost 0.5mm at bed temperature. the band didn't hold that either. One plus a WEEK later. The seller keeps trying to tell me what I bought and what he delivered, they are two different things. That's not true, because they don't make similar beds, they make different ones. Every other bed they sell is a completely different size. BUT I did my best. I used old fashioned clips to hold it together. It worked well. Ordered another ruby tip for $100. and produced the item pictured below. About 3 hours after the 5 hour print I heard a pop and noticed that the object had detached from the platform. As I turned the item over, I noticed that it had taken the top of the bed with it. See Fig. UPDATE. Anycubic just got back to me with an offer to fix my issues. If I decline this truthful review and lie to you instead, send me a $7 spool of filament. I declined this offer.
