This is a good multifunctional USB voltage and current tester, which can be very useful to troubleshoot some USB power adapters, AC adapters and USB cables. This is very handy to determine if the power adapter you bought is real or fake. It can also help you determine if your current USB cable can handle the current from your adapter or power bank to safely and properly charge a new smartphone or tablet. After using this device, I was quickly able to identify cheap USB cables that couldn't handle higher currents, which was a revelation to me. It was pretty clear that while cables may look nice and shiny on the outside, up-to-date processing capabilities play a crucial role in meeting the more demanding fast-charging needs of next-gen smart devices. Lesson learned. - Not all USB cables are created equal. See for yourself and you will be surprised how many cheap fake USB cables and/or power adapters you have lying around! and why your smartphones are not charging properly. 99% of the time it's the cheap favorite cable that looks great but doesn't work that well.
