These are excellent salt and pepper shakers! I LOVE the huge tank of each device. You don't have to refill it every week. However, the only two issues I have is the requirement for six (6) AAA batteries per device. I don't know how long those six batteries will last, but at first glance it seems extremely excessive; If they last a while I will come back and change my rating. Another issue I had was that these things are extremely delicate, so it's very difficult to just add "a little" salt or pepper to your food. I know they have to set an angle somewhere to work, but mine seem to grind as soon as the device goes 1 degree perpendicular to the platter. In general this is a good product.
