later so let me start by saying that I love Wyze products. I have a Wyze scale, two cameras on my parents farm and before this camera I had the original camera just installed in my apartment window. I received this camera; 1) Finally a wireless camera. 2) get a better view of our porch and parking lot. To be honest this camera is a little disappointing. It's not that it doesn't work, but it does show some flaws, mostly related to the other motion sensor. Pros: Image quality is good during the day, but video gets blurry in low light, especially at night. (I have a feeling it might be a software issue, I've seen my cameras perform better before and this has only changed with software updates). It's wireless and it's awesome. high, motion recording will not be triggered until someone is within 10 feet or less. (See the first image where I step within 5ft while having a view of the entire sidewalk.) My original Wyze cameras are much more sensitive to movement, sometimes too sensitive. 2) This camera does not use "detection zone" unlike original Wyze cameras. I understand that he uses a different technology/technique. But as I noticed in 1 it's not as good as the original cameras and I would have preferred the capture area. Instead, you have to move the camera yourself to adjust the detection area. 3) I turned the mount upside down, hoping I could just rotate the image 180 like my other cameras do and no big deal. Not correct. Although the camera has a magnet on top to fix it on the right anyway, and you can rotate the image by 180Β°, this does not change the detection area. Thus, detection occurs at the top of the field of view and not at the bottom where the main zone of motion would be. 4) Micro SD storage. There is no reason in the world why these products should not support exfat formats to support more than 32GB micro SD storage. Since the micro SD storage can store almost 1TB, I don't have to beg the security camera to use a 128GB SD card. This really kills my experience because my Samsung 128g was $20. And those cameras don't read them and don't format them, and I can't reformat them to Fat32. It really annoys me that I don't have that option. 5) The files that are written to the SD card are only thumbnails! wtf. No Videos! Ultimately, the new detection sensor seems to be a big mistake here. Second, the inability to use larger SD cards and the fact that the SD card only stores thumbnails of recorded events. To update; 1 star deducted. Maybe more if this problem persists. I was trying to connect to a live stream while my girlfriend and son were playing outside so I could try and talk to them. If it were connected at all, the picture would turn to fluff. I'm really mad at this camera. Update 2: The fall of another star. The SD card only stores thumbnails (event images) and no video clips.
