the units work as advertised. Installation was quick and easy. What I didn't really like about this No. 1: Those shock absorbers are not white. they are shiny black. For some, it doesn't matter, but for others, like me, the color matters. I bought them because they were shown white. #2. Also, there are black spots in the shock absorber area, under or around the inflation rubber balloon. Looks like complete crap. I believe this is the paint that is applied after the rubber bladder is installed and then rubbed off by the rubber as the paint gets wet and sticks to the underside of the shock. I was able to clean it in about 30 minutes using a variety of tools and chemicals. All in all I'd say Monroe could put a bit of effort into the cosmetics of these devices, not everyone puts them on the racquet/daily ride. .
