
There's really nothing you can do about it unless Windows recognizes it as a device. Put one in a project and can't program with the Arduino IDE. Additional COM ports are not shown for modification and there are no unrecognized devices in Device Manager. I tried another board that was just unpacked and the same result. I even tried installing generic FDTI drivers and a driver from a similar clone board with the same chipset. No additional manufacturer drivers or driver links are provided. Support has not responded to a request in this regard.
