Disappointing purchase

Based on my experience with Computers, this microcontroller was a letdown .The setup process was confusing and time-consuming, with unclear instructions. WHILE the price was reasonable, the overall performance did not meet my expectations..

Boards aren't even recognized as devices in Windows

There's really nothing you can do about it unless Windows recognizes it as a device. Put one in a project and can't program with the Arduino IDE. Additional COM ports are not shown for modification and there are no unrecognized devices in Device Manager. I tried another board that was just unpacked and the same result. I even tried installing generic FDTI drivers and a driver from a similar clone board with the same chipset. No additional manufacturer drivers or driver links are provided…
