Unfortunately broke two weeks after purchase. When lowering the gate, it collapsed on the bracket on the gate. The exchange went well and the new one lasted two months. I could see this happening when he showed signs of weakness early on. My plan was to remove the bracket and find another way to attach this pin in the hole. I left the rest of the device hanging on the frame mount. Somehow it came loose, it seemed like it got through the bottom of the back door and onto the street somewhere. So there is nothing to try to send it back. I really wanted to like this device because it's a really handy gadget (hence the one star). I just need to improve the build method a bit.
