This line filter is fine. It does what it's supposed to, which is to have extra power outlets in any convenient place on the desktop. Two things bother me: 1) You can't keep your phone, iPad or device upright while charging, there's nowhere to put the plug. 2) When your device is almost fully charged and plugged in, it will emit a very loud high frequency hum. This is really annoying and easily fixed by simply turning off the device. It doesn't help me when it's only mostly charged and I need it fully charged. Finally I just got another surge protector with USB ports and this one still doesn't suck.
