I was ready to throw away my old Ott Light when I decided to see how much it would cost to replace the bulb.The old bulb was cracked at the base and was kind of hanging out of the "newer version" find I better because it might not fit your old lamp.) It arrived yesterday and was simply snapped into place. Now I have a great ott lamp again and for a fraction of the cost of a new one. I'm very happy with this purchase as I saved a lot of money (otta lamps are a rat, they're expensive. If you care make sure you order the right bulb, that's a great deal. The lamp gives a strong light, like the old one.
