Good replacement for my old OttLite

OTT gives great light. The model number of my floor lamp is OTL13FLW. This goes on for many years, and eventually the lightbulb is broken. I am very confused as to which bulb to get after checking their website. I have contacted customer service. You are very helpful. Her answer is if your old bulb has smooth plastic just behind each stud/prong on the side, new configuration Ottlite bulbs (new model Ottlite #T13330) will actually fit your Type A bulb/fixture. Works with old compact fluorescent lamps

After 8-9 years of owning my old Ott-Lite table lamp the bulb finally burned out. Not wanting to just look for another lamp (most modern offerings aren't that great for my drafting table), I did a little research to find no guarantees that it would actually work. In fact, I seem to have found places that said "this lamp should work" and "lamps no longer made for these old lamps". There was no model number printed anywhere on the lamp, at least I couldn't find it. Well, it's better than the $30…

I was ready to throw away my old Ott Light when I decided to see how much it would cost to replace the bulb.The old bulb was cracked at the base and was kind of hanging out of the "newer version" find I better because it might not fit your old lamp.)
