Hanging a heavy bird feeder from my back porch vinyl ceiling has long been a mystery. The squirrels kept jumping onto the feeder, which I hung on a hook screwed into the vinyl, and dragged it to the porch floor. The screw had to be inserted into the wooden joist, but I didn't want to remove the vinyl to find the joist or insert a suitable wooden support between the joists. After some online research I found out that I can hang the feeder with a lever bolt. the one with the wings. And so I ordered it from Amazon. I followed the video instructions on You Tube. Drill a hole large enough to hold the lever bolt, insert the bolt into the hole until the wings expand and snap, then twist the hook until it tightens to the vinyl ceiling and metal . "Wing". It took less than three minutes to solve a problem that has plagued me for 30 years. Luckily for me, there are six lever bolts in the package because I have five other heavy objects I'd like to hang from the ceiling. And now I know how to do it. Give me my drill!
