I used these to hang a fruit basket around my apartment - I needed a 1/2" drill bit to make a hole that's big enough for the metal toggle switch. The hole is big and honestly scared me a little, but the washer completely closes the hole. It's been 5 days since I installed it and the fruit basket is picking up speed! Update: I returned the item and decided to try this product again. I read all the reviews and thought maybe they sent me the wrong product. The second batch was the advertised product. Hanging a heavy bird feeder from my back porch vinyl ceiling has long been a mystery.
