I like this fan - it's thin and low profile, so suitable for small form factor cases. While I only used this to tether to a GPU whose fans have died, I could have gone with the Noctua solution for just a few bucks. It can be heard at volumes above 60%, which is actually quite good. If I had put it in a case and really installed it properly, I might have bought Noctua instead. It was over $14 after tax and for only $5 you can get Noctua which I always recommend. Overall I think this is a decent fan for the price. And the included cable is quite long if that's what you're looking for. This is a niche product, but when you need it, it does its job well.
