Don't buy these fans.

I strongly advise you to stay away from these fans. I only bought them to get the remote control because I lost the ones that came with my Cullin MX case and this set comes with the same remote control. However, this is one of the many problems. Patented fan cables that only work with the controller, you can't connect them to your mobile device directly. There is no speed controller as again nothing is connected to the mobile device. In some cases, like mine, you can plug the speed part into…

Nice little fans repurposed

I use them in our fireplace heater-o-later. The 2 original fans were inefficient and noisy. There were five fan mounting holes but only 2 fans. Inexpensive production plant! A few years ago I ordered a 120mm fan kit for smoothness and efficiency. Eventually they wore out and failed. I ordered two sets of these and installed one set about a month ago. They are quieter than the first 120s. I use a 100mW 12V DC power supply to power them and it installs with a cover in the 5th hole. The whole…

Wow. I'm usually a Roseville fan (pun intended). However, these fans need help. Background - I replaced two factory 120mm fans in my upgraded Zalman case with three of the same Rosewill 120mm fans. Yes, I added an extra fan. My case holds up to five 120mm fans. I was very surprised to find that my six drive array running at 7200 RPM was hot enough to burn my hand. This has never happened before. I went online and bought a competing model, albeit twice the price. The new fan is rated at twice…

Awesome fans, great colors, easy install!

Absolutely one of the best PC accessories I've bought in a long time. They arrived fairly quickly and were easy to assemble. IF you know what you are doing. However, there are no instructions for the average person unless you can install a four screw, one connector fan on your computer. Honestly, you shouldn't open your PC door. The control box for connecting the remote control is compact and convenient, making it easy to hide in the PC. There are also multiple connection options on the control

Good fan. Excellent value for money and quality!

I use its fan, mostly installed on my radiator. As some reviewers have noted, the fans are quite audible (not to say loud). If you have other 140mm fans, especially those with high static pressure, you may be disappointed with the noise level from this fan. I'm telling you, please don't be, because everything is relative. Fans with high static pressure are always louder than regular case fans. Because static pressure increases with speed, the fan will usually get louder. It is true that the…

  • I'm worried

For a while I thought about which stars to give this one. Here are 4 fans and I bought them on sale for only $11.99. Some people say they don't blow much air and to be honest they would be right. They don't push as much air as the BeQuiet, for example! or Noctua or Thermaltake. etc. But as they say they are absolutely silent, they have molex and 3 pin connectors on one cable for each fan in case you are like me and don't have a dedicated fan controller. However, they are so quiet and have…

Decent for the price

I like this fan - it's thin and low profile, so suitable for small form factor cases. While I only used this to tether to a GPU whose fans have died, I could have gone with the Noctua solution for just a few bucks. It can be heard at volumes above 60%, which is actually quite good. If I had put it in a case and really installed it properly, I might have bought Noctua instead. It was over $14 after tax and for only $5 you can get Noctua which I always recommend. Overall I think this is a decent…

Really a must.

Really necessary if looks are important to you. There can be variances between motherboards and cases these days, and you won't know until you find out the hard way. The fact is that on modern motherboards we find the RGB logo and in most cases it is partially obscured by large fans on the back of the PC. In some cases they took care of that and put the motherboard in the recess and the RGB logo became visible; others don't, and that's where a low-profile fan like this one comes in handy. This…

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • I have problems

This is exactly what I paid for. Four simple black fans that spin and push air out. Mind you, they don't push *tons* of air out. It would be inconvenient to use them in a system running hot components. My computer runs a GTX 750, 16GB DDR3-1333 and an i7-4790k, so it doesn't bother me that much. I took the first one out of the box, plugged it in and screwed it into the back of the case. and it worked. No hassle needed. It took less than five minutes to get the old dead fan out and put the new…
