I really like these pans. We do not wash them in the dishwasher and never heat them above medium temperature. I always heat pots before boiling and salt water after it boils. This is how most pans should be handled in use to get the best performance and longevity from them. Yes, they're heavy, but I like that my empty pots don't fall over because the handle on one side makes them heavier. They fit perfectly in my closet and are so easy even my husband can figure it out. I've had them for a few months now and haven't had any problems. I have a pan with an off-center metal groove, but that doesn't bother me. I've traded a number of ceramic coated pans for them. I originally liked my ceramic pots until I noticed a notch on the bottom which didn't bother me until I was boiling water for something and noticed something was coming out of the notch and I realized food and things were getting stuck between the ceramic and the pan, everything I cooked in the pan was fundamentally contaminated as there was no way to clean the area between the ceramic and the metal. That's why I bought them to throw away my ceramic set and I'm so happy they cook so much better than my expensive ceramic coated pans and a lot more evenly. I 100% recommend this set for everyday use, as long as you treat it right I hope you do the same.
