Review on BW Resin Platform Bicycle Pedals – Ultimate 9/16 Pedals for Road, Mountain, Fixie & Commuter Bikes by Carlos Block

Bought this to replace a cracked pedal on my hybrid bike from a significantly inferior brand. Installing these $11 quality pedals was as easy as installing a screw, which can be done with a wrench or allen wrench. Or both. Getting crazy. With no instructions other than a plastic L or R on one corner of each pedal, note that they rotate in opposite directions, potentially making one of them work against your intuition. Loosening existing pedals is as easy as turning a wrench in the opposite direction of pedal rotation, causing the chain to move in either direction, while tightening works in the opposite direction. It may help to apply a bit of grease to the mounting threads before installation if yours is loose. At least that's what I heard. I like the small amount of extra profile where the pedals attach to the crankshaft, but I don't like the prominent "BW" logo in the middle. I can't beat them all I guess. I'll update this review again if they break catastrophically or something else we assume they've been doing fine since September 2019.
