I do not often feel compelled to review products, but this is the most awful product I've ever used. I originally purchased this for my 90 year old mother as she has problems seeing and working with traditional phones. After a month of having her complain about the phones, I gave her my Toshiba phones which have bigger buttons and decided to use her phones. As she had misplaced two of her phones and I needed additional handsets for my house I blindly purchased the triple pack. I used the new base, unregistered the phones that were old from the original base and then re-registered all phones. Keep in mind I'm very technical and know my way around tech equipment. Here are the issues with this phone. 1) Handsfree is barely audible. I've increased the volume while in call to the max and it is a third of the volume of the Toshiba handsets I gave my mom. When the phones ring, it's pot luck as to whether the handset you grab will actually connect when you hit the talk button. Usually, I'm going to multiple handsets and by the time I get to one that picks-up the person has already hung up. I've also found that at least one of the handsets keeps ringing even after I'm lucky enough to pick-up a call. I have to hit the talk button on that phone and than hang-up. When my wife and I conference (as we might be in different areas of the house when one of the kids calls, from time to time we get bad feedback and one of us has to surrender our kids phone call to the other as we cannot be on at the same time. I've also noticed that when I go to see who last called (when I can't pick-up other phones) so I can call back and get "Not Available" when trying to look at recent calls. It's a shame as I don't think I can return these at this point and I invested good money in the 4 handset and later the 3 handset version (when I assumed these from my mom). Now to the support portion of my review. I called and was left on hold for about twenty minutes and about three minutes into explaining the background the phone call was disconnected. I'm now holding for about 15 minutes so far waiting and hoping to get someone else on the line that will not disconnect me. Keep in mind the call dropped and not in response to any rants on my part (not typically one that complains much). Anyway, I'm hoping that maybe my review will garner a response from Motorola in case I get disconnected again. Although, my guess is they are just too big to care about their customers. Update finally had someone pick-up (lost track of time) and re-explained all of my issues and was than asked what the reason for my call was. I asked if she was kidding and explained again. She then said she was going to put me on hold which I agreed to. About five minutes later, I was disconnected again. I will never, ever, ever buy another Motorola product again. FYI. If I don't buy something from Walmart at least once a week they send out a search party (kidding of course). In all the years I've been buying products, this is the first negative review of any kind I've felt the need to post. Sorry for the rant, but I'm just trying to save you from a lot of hurt.
