Contains poloxamer 407 which may cause liver damage if swallowed. Despite claims that the bottle is meant to swallow, I wouldn't swallow this. It also contains sodium benzoate, which forms benzene in the presence of vitamin C. To be honest, most mouthwashes contain this ingredient. Pretty expensive for what it is. It's better to make your own saline mouthwash, formulas are plentiful online and cheaper and as long as you don't use toxic water and/or toxic ingredients, probably safer. It's a unique taste with menthol in it. I can't compare it to anything I've tried before, including salt water. I wouldn't describe the taste as salty though.
