Easy to set up, use and read the display. Has an automatic pause. No more smelly magnetic sensor pickups. The cadence sensor is easy to install. The powerful battery lasts a long time. Fairly accurate speed, distance and cadence compared to older Cateye models. But the cumulative increase isn't even close (the only negative). However, this issue has been resolved in the Strava app on a phone where the XOSS app was linked to the Strava app while loading the map data into Strava. I just record with XOSS, leave the Strava app closed, and later upload the data to Strava. Got a head unit with handlebar mount and cadence sensor for about $80. Compared to Garmin's hundreds, you can't beat XOSS (Extreme Outdoor Sports Science).
