I just bought this DVD player. This is great for what I need. I play a DVD and let it play in the background while I do chores. So it works fine for that. I watched a few movies on it and the only problem I had was that I couldn't figure out how to add subtitles quickly. The DVD also makes a faint noise, almost like a grinding noise. I could ignore the noise but it annoyed my husband. He figured fiddling with the audio cables would help. He was right! So if you are facing this problem, I would recommend this. All in all, if you're looking for a basic DVD player that can play DVDs, then this is a great buy!
