It took about 15 days to fully relax after rolling up and really starting to work as it should. Now I feel very comfortable and my knees are very different from when I was standing and working in my workshop. I got this as a replacement for the same one that was 11 years old. It "wears really well". Excellent prices; excellent product. I was able to cut to the desired length and then bevel the edges myself with an orbital sander to remove some of the spongy material.
