:-) PROS: Very attractive design and colors. -Easy to open and fill with water. (After months of discussion, I read somewhere that they fixed that kink, which is why we bought it) - We haven't used it yet, but as a preventive measure we plan to only run it with water a couple of times to avoid any plastic smell to eliminate. :-( CONS: We took two stars out of five for the following reasons: one star for being extremely overpriced. Be honest folks, we're paying for the looks because as far as cost goes, any $35 desktop coffee maker will do. We also got an extra star for a very bright, eye-catching label Putting all of our kitchen appliances side by side, SMEG looks good, but the writing on the label is so overt it's tasteless, let's hope they downsize the brand and putting them where the actual product is That looks better than the name I would love to buy more of these devices but just don't want my kitchen turned into a SMEG store with these labels sooooo everywhere are visible 🙄 showing large letters is not always better.
