Worked well for 5 months, shut off after 20 minutes. Now the electricity falls into the socket and does not work. Revain only allows returns within 30 days. Warranty 1 year, but did not help! Rip off $200 and no customer service.

Well I really like the coffee maker itself but it's not cheap and it immediately has a ring where the heating element burns through the burner. It's really discouraging and gross. I called customer service and bodice they told me it was ok mmmm no. I can return

A beautiful kitchen appliance that makes people happy. However, it is annoying due to the positioning of the water tank. When preparing coffee, never completely drain the water from the jug into the tank. There is ALWAYS at least ½ cup of water left in the carafe, so take this into account whenever you brew coffee. It's disappointing that high-tech brand SMEG didn't find this design flaw during product testing. :(

You would think that at this price point the quality assurance of this coffee maker would be excellent. Good luck trying to pour the water from the jug into the reservoir on the back of the coffee maker. You literally have to tilt the entire coffee maker on its right side at a 45° angle to pour water, as the lid of the coffee maker doesn't open far enough to pour out clean water. I really wanted this SMEG coffee maker to work well. We have a SMEG toaster that looks great and makes great toast. However, the coffee machine does not disappoint. If you really don't like the look of this product then there is no reason to buy it. This is not a great or even a very good coffee maker. Especially for the price.
