A beautiful kitchen appliance that makes people happy. However, it is annoying due to the positioning of the water tank. When preparing coffee, never completely drain the water from the jug into the tank. There is ALWAYS at least ½ cup of water left in the carafe, so take this into account whenever you brew coffee. It's disappointing that high-tech brand SMEG didn't find this design flaw during product testing. :(
