I hesitated to buy an emergency collar because I didn't want my cat to lose the collar anywhere. However, I am surprised and satisfied with this product. He is also very reflective under his long fur. The collar endures a lot of tugging and tugging from its sister's rough housing, which is good too. I'm only giving 4 stars because one day we found his collar untied and just sitting on the couch. I'm not sure what made him pull away, but apparently he was able to just push him away. While you want the collar to come off in a desperate situation, you don't want the collar to come off if your cat is scratching its neck. Overall I would recommend this collar to anyone who has a cat that goes outside at night. It is quite durable and significantly increases visibility.
