Started around 5pm ended around 10am to be honest because of the previous owner of my car and I had a Chevy 1500 4x4 2001. He has a lot of 2500's Parts fitted so I had no trouble getting it up, I have 3" suspension not 3" body, 6 total, now I can delete 35 with -44 offset, currently fitted with 31x10r17 offset -17 and 2" spacers. But made the job for me +1 dead easy, only broke 2 screws which didn't matter on the side of the bed as long as you get 4 corners it's fine I didn't even use the instructions except to temporarily place the top fan covers , which I'll be switching to electric fans in a moment, only an ever better performance boost since they don't have to run on a belt.
