This bike lock is very scary to look at and so far I haven't had any problems with it. What annoys me the most is that I couldn't find a YouTube video of the lock picking and that there is plastic in the lock case. However, the choice is not so simple. It would be nice to know what kind of plastic is used inside the lock case. Similar to HDPE or even UHMW which has a melting point of 270 degrees Fahrenheit. I say plastic is used, but the body of the lock is surrounded by metal. I find that if the bolt cutters could bypass the lock case, the lock case itself would be the lock's weakest point. I live in a low crime area so I'm sure he can store my e-bike safely.
