I bought this item because my 2 young male dogs (brothers) used to play, fool around and chase each other which was perfectly normal. What was not good was that within a year, two brothers bit each other in the back and ripped out a piece of skin. My cat needed stitches and had to wear overalls (twice separately) for a few months. It was terrible! Anyway, someone suggested this particular product and it worked pretty magically. They still fool around, chase each other and fight BUT not to such a horrific extent and it's been about two and a half years so far. So it works well for us and since it's very expensive I buy a 6 pack. Luckily I have the opportunity to afford it.
